Strawberry Shortcake Martini

Ingredients

3  fresh strawberries (plus one additional for garnish, if desired)

2 oz cake flavored vodka

2 oz lemonade

1/2 oz amaretto liqueur

ice and a cocktail shaker

Directions

1Muddle (or crush with the back of a spoon) the strawberries and vodka in a cocktail shaker.

2Add the lemonade, amaretto and a little ice to the cocktail shaker.

3Shake briefly but vigorously.

4Strain into a chilled martini glass.

5Garnish rim of glass with a half strawberry, if desired.

Black Tie Martinis
9 ounces (1 cup plus 2 tablespoon) gin or vodka
1 teaspoon black peppercorns, crushed
1 tablespoon dry vermouth
3 dashes Angostura bitters

Garnish: lemon twist

Watermelon Martinis by Bobby Flay
Ingredients
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
5 cups watermelon, seeds removed
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 1/4 cups vodka
2 ounces melon liqueur, optional
8 lemon twists, for garnish
Directions
Bring the sugar and water to a boil in a small saucepan and cook until the sugar has completely dissolved. Let cool.
In a food processor, puree the watermelon flesh. Add a little of the sugar syrup to sweeten, to taste. Pour the pureed watermelon into 2 empty ice cube trays and freeze for at least 4 hours.
In a blender combine the frozen watermelon cubes, more simple syrup, to taste, lemon juice and vodka, melon liqueur and blend until smooth. Pour into 8 frozen martini glasses and garnish with a lemon twist.

Ingredients• 1 shot (1.5 ounces) vodka• 1/2 fluid ounce orange liqueur• 1/2 fluid ounce dry vermouth• 2 shots (3 ounces) cranberry juice• 1 cups ice• Cranberries (optional) Directions1. Combine vodka, orange liqueur, vermouth, cranberry juice and ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously to chill.2. Pour into martini glasses and serve. Garnish with a few cranberries, if desired.
